Dear Tuckahoe Neighbors,

As I reflect on my time serving you—four years as Village Trustee and four years as your Mayor—I am filled with heartfelt gratitude. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to work on behalf of a village so close to my heart. Your support, trust, and encouragement throughout this journey have meant the world to me, and I thank you sincerely for the privilege of serving.  The time for me to move on has come. I believe in the power of people and in the importance of stepping aside to allow space for others to lead.

As we look toward the future of Tuckahoe, I am proud to support a team of candidates who are deeply committed to continuing the progress we’ve made here together—individuals who lead with integrity, compassion, and vision.

Cara Kronen, our current Deputy Mayor, is a tried and tested leader who has consistently demonstrated her ability to listen, collaborate, and act in the best interests of all Tuckahoe residents. Cara has been instrumental in moving initiatives forward that enhance our quality of life, strengthen community bonds, and preserve the unique character of our village. I have every confidence that as Mayor, she will lead with heart, competence, and an unwavering dedication to the people of Tuckahoe.

Trustee Josh Gaccione brings a wealth of leadership and service through his role as Director of Veterans Affairs in Westchester County. His experience and advocacy have not only supported our veterans but have made a meaningful impact right here in Tuckahoe. Josh’s thoughtful approach and strong sense of duty make him an essential voice on the Village Board.

Sarah DeRise is a passionate community advocate whose commitment is evident in everything she does. Whether organizing events, volunteering her time, or actively listening to the concerns of neighbors, Sarah has shown she understands the needs of this community. She’s already making a difference, and I know she will bring that same energy and insight to the role of Village Trustee.

Together, this team represents the spirit of Tuckahoe: committed, community-focused, and prepared to serve.
